National Level Areas of competition are:  

 Private Personal Interview (25%) (Panel-style)

Preliminary Night

Final Night

Platform Speech (15%)

State Costume Opening number (No Point)

Modeling (10%)

Modeling (10%)

One Piece Swimwear (25%)    (Two piece with approval)

One Piece Swimwear (25%)   (Two piece with approval)

Evening Gown (25%)

Evening Gown (25%)

COMPETITION WARDROBE - You will be required to provide your own competition wardrobe.


Opening number State Costume - An outfit that reflects the state that you are representing (No Points) Finals Night

1. Evening Gown - Cost of gown is not a consideration when being judged.
There are no requirements regarding the gown other than it should be full length, fit you well, and compliment you and your physical features. You can change gowns the second night if you are a finalist. It is your choice.

2. Private Personal Interview (panel-style) - Personal interview is business suit …..  This is your time to shine showing the business woman from within you….something similar that you would wear to a job interview.

3. One Piece Swimsuit - A basic suit that compliments your figure. It can be your choice of color and style with the exception that No Thongs allowed … another name is T backs.   A sarong or wrap, and panty hose are optional choices. Clear sandals or High heeled flesh colored are recommended.  Swimsuit can be changed to another on the second night if you are a finalist.  It is your choice.

4. Red Cocktail Dress - For platform speech during prelim night. All speeches are to be no shorter then 15 sec. and no long then 45 sec.  This will be your presentation for your platform of choice. No points are given for the red cocktail dress. This can be as fancy and glamorous as you wish! Skirt length must be no longer then knee length!


5. Modeling - An outfit that you can model that shows off your modeling style. This can be something out of your own wardrobe. You are judged on how you model (sell) the outfit as if someone would be buying it.  Your modeling outfit can be changed the second night if you are a finalist.  It is your choice.
