How do I enter this year’s state and national competition?

To enter the competition for 2008, you need to send the application in with your photo so we can put a face to the name and the application with the questions answered with your opinions. There is no such thing as a right or wrong answer but only those from the heart. It is our way of getting to know you.

What is an at large contestant status mean?

At large contestants are ladies that believe that they can compete on a national level to represent and promote a platform ( like breast cancer, heart disease, saying no to drugs, etc. or a platform cause that they feel is dear to their hearts and become founders to the cause. Our national Mrs. is promoting her platform of  The forgotten solders.

The at large contestant qualifies herself by answering a questionnaire that is questions that relate to their opinions on various subjects. The questionnaire is the application that all contestants sign up with.  All answers are confidential and will never be known by anyone including the judges. When the questionnaires are received you are given a number and only the corporate office knows the number given to each contestant.

We do not give out titles, but award them to those that receive the highest points overall from one given state. The at large title carries the same amount of clout as a contestant that receives the state title by a live audience competition. So, everyone will not know who has had a state competition on one by way of the internet. Everyone has identical crowns and banners. Everyone starts out even across the board when it comes to the national competition. All positions are awarded by the person that has the highest points from the judging of the questionnaires from judges that are in different areas of the United States. After a state is filled with a state representative the local city and county positions are filled the same way as the at large state positions. Each state representative gets to know these ladies from her state, which will in time compete for the state title next year.

Why doesn't having a platform important?

As a contestant a platform is what is dear to your heart that you would like to help promote to find cures, help make life easier for others etc. It can be your way of educating those about various causes that need attention. Your platform can be an existing platform or you can begin your own like helping the soldiers have care packages from home in the war zone sent to them.

What is America's Touch of Class Mission?

Our mission is to help women of today to fulfill their dreams of being of service to those in need, whether it be educational, volunteering, or just sitting and listening to those that need someone to listen and to know that they are heard.

So, through out the years this is what we feel our founders had in mind.

This is our mission for 2008-2009 and all the years to come.

Our Mission is to encourage women of all ages to be positive about their futures by accomplishing their goals, and strengthening their self esteem, confidence and with determination to succeed in life by advancing in their own natural skills for Success.

Each person has their own individual talented gift that they were born with and we would be honored to have all our local city, county, state and national queens become a success at helping others. That is what we are all about.

America’s Touch of Class wants to give a new meaning to the word PAGEANTS. We want the public to know all our queens are ladies that have class, style, and compassion for everyone that they meet and to make friends for a lifetime in all the things that they choose to do to make a difference.

A.T.O.C. Queens know that it is not what they have (title, crown, sash) but what they do with it that makes the difference. Everyone deserves the chance to show what they can do to help others in their communities. The rewards far more out number the services each queen gives of themselves.

As a queen for A.T.O.C. we honor each woman that takes the step to have a voice in our society that fulfills their goals and reaches out to express their platforms by using their position as a representative as a microphone to help others no matter how large or small their audience might be. With the position they decide to represent, it will make a difference to the world.

America's Touch of Class is honored by saying "Yes, I know that lady that represents A.T.O.C. with her own unique style of class and compassion for her fellow man".
